Can you believe this is our very last full week of first grade?!
This week we will
- explore the story Mariana Becomes a Butterfly
- identify main idea and details
- retell a story
- learn about agricultural engineering
- talk about pollination and parts of a plant
- identify and solve problems
- discuss the importance of insects
- talk about an engineering process as applied in the story
- review basic math facts and concepts
- continue to practice solving word problems
- correctly use Spelling word in sentences
- practice and review basic grammar
- write and reflect on their year in first grade
Our Bible story this week will be the Story of Ruth. We will have our last Bible test on Friday.
