Week of February 26, 2018
This week the children will be working on their African American presentation. The presentation will be Friday, March 2nd in the Eagle's Nest at 8:30. The children should come to school dressed in what they will be wearing in the program. Allow your child to bring a change of clothes to put on after the program.
Parents and friends are invited.
This week the child will be working on the following skills.
- Identifying and generating rhyme
- Identifying, decoding, and reading words in text with ir, ur, er
- The children will have a unit of study about Dr. Seuss
- Write a narrative about "Living with Dr. Seuss"
- Continue to work on addition and subtraction facts
- Continue to learn about famous African Americans
- Identify and interpret data on a graph
- Continue to work on addition/subtraction word problems

comfy clothes, NO LEGGINGS
Tuesday - "Green Eggs and Ham" Wear the color green.
Wednesday - "Wacky Wednesday" Wear your clothes backward, inside out, or mismatched.
Thursday - "The Cat in the Hat" Wear your favorite hat.
Friday - Fox in Socks" Wear silly or mismatched socks
