Week of April 22, 2019
This week we will be busy taking care of our strawberry garden. The children will continue to learn about plants and what plants need survive.
The children will work on the following skills.
- Identify, decode, and read words with /ar/, air/, /are/ and /ear/
- Identify and use homophones correctly in their writing
- Identify, read and use high frequency word: few, gone, surprise, wonder, young, nation, and unite
- Listening and responding to comprehension question
- Read, write, count, and illustrate numbers 100-300
- Review addition/subtraction facts
- Solve and write addition/subtraction problems 100-200
- Review Cause/Effect
- Read and discuss weekly Bible story " Rahab Helps Two Spies"
- Read for fluency and understanding
- Write narratives

CLASSROOM REMINDERS:
It is strongly suggested that your child bring a water bottle. Please make sure you put your child's name on the bottle each day.
