This week the children will work on the following skills:
- Identify, decode, and read words with /ou and /ow/
- Continue to work on identifying and using adjectives correctly
- Using adjectives to compare by use er, est
- Continue to work on comprehension and read fluently
- Identify the author's point of view within the story
- Continue to write narrative by writing a story in sequence
- Reviewing addition/subtraction number families
- Learning about how Moses sent twelve spies to the Promised Land Numbers 13-1-14:35
- Identifying the duties of a grandparent
- The children will write about their grandparents using adjectives within their story.
Please use this week to review your child's sight words. If your child cannot find their sight words please let your child's teacher know.

REMIND YOUR CHILD THAT THEY SHOULD READ AT LEAST 2 AR BOOKS OR 1 CHAPTER EACH WEEK.
